Hence consume diary products that are of low fat, green vegetables, fiber rich fruits, beans varieties, meat items and whole grains to increase fiber content. Also avoid any kind of food that would induce nausea.

• Take supplements of bile salts. This can reduce your nausea to certain extent.

• Take ginger supplements and eat foods that contain more amount of ginger. The nausea and vomiting can be controlled and prevented effectively by ginger after your gall bladder surgery.

• Vitamin B6 is also helpful in reducing nausea. Hence eat foods and supplements that provide Vitamin B6.

• You can try alternate treatments such as wearing acupressure bracelets. This bracelet will cause pressure on your wrist and in turn reduce nausea.

• You can also apply pressure to the inside of wrist with the help of two fingers between the tendons at your base palm. This might also reduce your nausea.

The suggestions listed above will considerably reduce the effects of nausea after gallbladder surgery. However, consult your doctor regularly on severity of nausea and vomiting and take appropriate medications.
